About us

Air, Sea, Projects, Logistics – the four service areas of SDV Geis extend from the transportation of entire sea containers and the processing of direct and consolidated consignments by air freight, through to international heavy goods transportation and complex logistics projects. We fulfil all our customers' individual needs with this range of international transport and logistics services. We have 332 staff members working in 10 locations in Germany every day on this. All over the world our customers benefit from our access to a global network including 525 stations in 92 countries! In total we serve more than 400 destinations all over the world.

We offer our customers one-stop-shopping, featuring the entire range of logistics services: Sea and air freight, project processing plus road transport and the management of complex outsourcing projects.

An important precondition to SDV Geis offering its services effectively is an ultramodern IT infrastructure. This helps us to arrange shipments quickly and reliably as well as to offer a transparent flow of information for our customers – e.g. in the form of online shipment tracking. Also, all of our business units fulfil the highest quality standards as certified by DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

Our powerful shareholders ensure financial security: Our company is a joint venture between the Geis Group and the French SDV Group which belongs to the Bolloré Group.
