SDV Geis supports the European Union's antiterrorism directives. These EU directives have been in force for logistics since January 2007 and are aimed at eliminating the financial sources of terrorist groups.
In concrete terms, this involves checking each company with which we have business links to ensure there are no possible links to terrorist organisations. Thanks to a specially developed compliance check programme, our risk management system is automatically informed immediately if the business partner in question has any conspicuous addresses. Appropriate measures can then be taken.
We are supported by the BAFA (Federal Office of Economics and Export Control), the AEB Engine address checking programme and authorised US and EU address lists in our search for detailed information about any such suspicious company.
