Heavy-duty cranes lift the colossus onto a flat bed trailerThe 320 tons heavy autoclave with a diameter of 8 m and an entire length of 27 m was loaded onto a 16 axle heavy haul flat bed trailer. |

On the way to the premises of the customerThe way from the quay to the premises was 2 km. In the run-up to the transport there were 3 route surveys to decide which way was the best one to take. |

Route upgradingFor the transport a multi-million euro gas oven, known as autoclave, adjustments to the road were made. Several road signs had to be removed, lawns and supply shafts had to be covered with steel plates and one drainage canal had to be filled up. |

Positioning of the autoclave per lifting mastArrived at the final destination the autoclave was lifted onto a platform using a lifting mast. The pressure cooker will bake plane segments for the Airbus A350 series. |
